The McNeil Scholar Program-Detroit

The Ronald D. & Regina C. McNeil Foundation, Inc. is a private not-for-profit founded in 2002. The McNeil Scholar Program-Detroit was established by The Foundation in 2007 for graduates of the Detroit Public Schools Community District matriculating to accredited institutions of higher education within the state of Michigan or to one of the five United States Military Academies. Scholarship awards of $500 to $5000 are made on an annual basis and are renewable for three consecutive years. Recipients are named McNeil Scholars. The Elijah L. McNeil, Jr. Scholarship Fund is exclusively for graduates matriculating to the School of Business Administration at Wayne State University. Recipients are named Elijah L. McNeil, Jr. Scholars.

First Time Applicants

First time applicants are those students who are graduating seniors from a Detroit Public Community District High School and are applying for the first time. Students interested in becoming a McNeil Scholar or an Elijah L.
